Your own personal experience with the play:
This was used as supplemental material when I had to (with little force) read Hamlet. It's a beautiful thing to look at a story from multiple angles.
What you liked and disliked about the play:
I like how this variation of Hamlet shows a different perspective on the story. In the original, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are easily forgotten. In this version, they become vital to the story. If you think about it, they always were vital to the story - this play just paints the image in a far better light. On the other hand, this also detracts from Hamlet himself. It's a matter of whether one wishes to see the comedy or the tragedy of the original version at play. R & G hits home on the comedy side, as these characters come off as very goofy.
